The Menorah
In protest of mandatory overtime, George “goes Galt.” When his boss realizes how efficiently the workplace runs in George’s absence, everyone else’s hours are reduced back to a manageable level, and George is asked to “remain Galt.” Kramer, who has harbored a lifelong distaste for baklava, reconsiders the pastry. Elaine becomes offended to learn that her Jewish boyfriend doesn’t practice the religion, and actually celebrates Christmas. Furious, she snaps a menorah over her knee, then spends each night of Hanukkah tossing another of his presents in an incinerator. Jerry worries that his entire existence is merely the dream of an autistic child.
