The Microwave
Elaine and Kramer vehemently debate the pros and cons of using a microwave. Kramer claims that it’s clean, efficient, and clearly safe, being based on technology we’ve known about for 50 years. Elaine argues that we don’t fully know the dangers of it, and there will be better options available in the future. Jerry tries to warm up a bag of marshmallows using his microwave, since he hates the scorched flavor they get from an open flame. The three fly into a panic when the marshmallows expand at a rapid rate, threatening to open the microwave door from the inside and cause a dangerous meltdown. George borrows his girlfriend’s nail file and finds it to be far preferable to clippers.
